Bio

Alexander Saladrigas, born and raised in the vibrant city of Miami, Florida, is a talented photographer whose artistic journey is deeply rooted in his Cuban heritage. As the son of first-generation Americans who emigrated from Cuba, Alexander credits his family's unwavering work ethic and their encouragement of his creative pursuits as the foundation of his success. From a young age, he demonstrated a natural aptitude for art, ultimately gravitating towards photography as his primary medium of expression. In 2013, Alexander recognized the potential for photography to be more than a passion—it could be a viable career. This realization prompted his move to New York in 2014, where he has since immersed himself in the dynamic art and fashion scenes. Currently, he is delving into themes of family and culture, navigating his identity as a Cuban-American and Floridian, while working on his debut photography book. Throughout his career, Alexander has collaborated with esteemed clients such as Carolina Herrera, Coach, Isabel Marant, Louis Vuitton, Kate Spade, Tory Burch, and Giorgio Armani. His editorial contributions have graced the pages of prestigious publications, including New York Magazine, Harper's Bazaar, The Cut, Vogue Mexico, French Numéro, and The Telegraph. With each project, Alexander continues to weave his cultural narrative into his work, capturing the essence of his subjects and the stories they tell.
