Bio

Chicago-based commercial and editorial photographer working globally. I create visual ecosystems for brands, people and organizations with a focus on identity and communication. My background in art theory shapes the way I think about image-making, meaning and semiotics of visual language. I'm formally trained in photography, lighting design, commercial retouching and art direction. I work across analog formats, design and state of the art digital. My practice is guided by research, design and the art of visual world building. At the center of it all is genuine reverence for collaboration, perspective, story and what lives inside the details.
