Bio
Born and raised in the vibrant city of Kansas City, I discovered my passion for the arts at the tender age of five, transforming my bedroom walls into a canvas of creativity—much to my parents' chagrin. This early spark ignited a lifelong journey that would intertwine art and action sports. Years later, I embraced the thrill of skateboarding, which not only shaped my identity but also inspired my foray into photography. As a student at the Savannah College of Art and Design, I dedicated myself to capturing the dynamic world of skateboarding, merging my two passions into a singular artistic vision. After graduating, I took a significant leap, moving to Los Angeles with my wife, Lwany, where I seized the opportunity to become a staff photographer for Skateboarder Magazine. This role allowed me to travel the globe and document the very skateboarders who had inspired me as a child—an experience I cherished until the magazine's unfortunate closure. Undeterred, I adapted my photographic style to explore new avenues, delving into lifestyle, fitness, and advertising photography, each project allowing me to express my artistic voice in fresh and exciting ways. Recently, my family and I relocated to a quaint town in Ventura County, just north of Los Angeles. In my downtime, you’ll find me reveling in the company of our spirited pup, Milo, or indulging in my hobbies: skateboarding, cycling, gardening, perfecting the art of coffee brewing, and honing my skills at the grill. Each day brings new adventures, and I remain committed to capturing the beauty and energy of life through my lens.
