Yushy Pachnanda, Photographer, London

Description

This striking monochrome photograph by photographer Yushy Pachnanda captures a solitary figure suspended against the exterior of a dark brick building in London at night. The high-contrast black-and-white tones emphasize the rough texture of the brickwork and the shadowy facade of the double doors. The subject, wearing casual clothing and a backpack, grasps the upper frame with their feet dangling above the ground. Grain and deep shadows enhance the moody, observational feel of the composition.
