About

A young boy in his pre-teens wearing a blue and white hockey jersey holds a hockey stick while glancing toward the camera. He is outfitted in black hockey shorts, blue leggings, and protective black gloves, with an extra helmet tucked under his arm. The scene is set on an outdoor ice rink at night under ambient lighting, creating a dark sky overhead. In the soft-focus background, other indistinct figures can be seen on the ice surface. This sports-themed editorial portrait was photographed by Shaun Fenn in San Francisco.
