Will Hartley, Photographer, London

Description

This portrait photograph by Will Hartley features two figures along a riverbank with numerous birds in flight across the water. A man in dark attire is shown in deep silhouette in the foreground, while a second figure stands slightly further back in profile near the shoreline. The soft, overcast daylight creates a muted palette across the water and sky. The composition places emphasis on the atmospheric depth between the foreground silhouette and the distant horizon.
