HERO Magazine When Life Gives You Lemons 2025

About

Captured by photographer Joe Brennan for HERO Magazine, this portrait features a black man holding a mesh bag filled with yellow lemons directly in front of his face. He wears a vibrant green button-down shirt, a white tie, and a dark leather jacket. The composition is set against a clean, neutral white background with even, studio-style illumination that highlights the textures of the leather jacket and the netting. The project titled When Life Gives You Lemons plays with conceptual framing and vibrant colour accents.
