Wes Lang, Illustrator, New York

About

An expressive illustration by artist Wes Lang features a skeletal figure wearing an elaborate, colorful feathered headdress in profile. The figure is set against a vibrant, textured background divided into red and pink geometric blocks. Prominent text reading Great Spirit spans across the upper portion of the composition in a bold typeface. Flanking the central figure are two stylized illustrations of daggers pointing downward. The painting employs visible, painterly brushstrokes and a rich palette of reds, pinks, whites, and dark tones.
