Joseph Gardner, Set Designer, Sydney

Description

This magazine cover features an art-directed interior living room scene designed by Joseph Gardner. The walls are painted a rich emerald green, framed by floor-to-ceiling dark wood shelving units loaded with books and decorative objects. A dark red marble fireplace anchors the central wall, topped with a geometric abstract painting in red, blue, and green. In the foreground, a glossy red coffee table holds a clear glass vase filled with white flowers, surrounded by patterned upholstery sofas and plush mauve modular armchairs. A distinctive petal-shaped chandelier hangs from the ceiling, casting a warm glow over the patterned rug on the floor. Bold blue masthead typography and white cover lines overlay the composition.
