Description

This cinematic video spot for Verizon titled 'Horror Story' was directed by Nia DaCosta and features actor Connor Storrie arriving at a secluded dark house at dusk. The narrative opens with an aerial shot of the wooded property before following the protagonist as he gets out of a vintage car, carrying a dark duffel bag and walking up to the entrance. He uses a smartphone app to unlock the smart door lock remotely before stepping inside into the dim interior. Later scenes show him kneeling by a stone fireplace inside the moody, shadow-filled living room. The project features production by PRETTYBIRD UK, agency work by X&O, and post-production by William McVay, Parallax, and Picture Shop, with sound design by Consortium.
