Valentin Herfray, Photographer, New York

Description

An energetic editorial image captured by photographer Valentin Herfray features a smiling young woman caught mid-air in a dynamic, weightless leap against a clean white background. She wears a dark blue two-piece outfit consisting of a cropped top and long skirt, with her long brown hair streaming upward from the motion. In her outstretched hands, she grips a translucent teal video game controller with a black cord trailing upward toward a matching translucent teal game console floating above her. The extreme low-angle perspective exaggerates the sense of flight, while bright, even lighting highlights the crisp textures of her clothing and the glossy plastic surfaces of the gaming hardware.
