Description

This architectural photograph captures an empty urban alleyway flanked by brick buildings and structured with green-framed awnings and elevated balconies. The composition emphasizes geometric lines and contrasting textures between weathered brickwork, smooth concrete surfaces, and corrugated metal shutters. Soft natural daylight illuminates the narrow passageway, creating subtle shadows and highlighting the muted, earthy color palette. The perspective draws the viewer deep into the receding space of the service area, emphasizing the Brutalist and functional architectural elements. Photographed by Nico Froehlich in London, the image presents a candid and observational perspective on urban architecture.
