Description

A female field hockey player is captured in a dynamic, low athletic stance while gripping a hockey stick in both hands. She wears a black and red sports uniform with matching red socks and dark footwear, her dark hair tied back in a braid. The composition is set against a dark, atmospheric background punctuated by warm bokeh circles and strong backlighting that creates a glowing halo effect around the subject. The lighting style is moody and dramatic, focusing attention entirely on the athlete's intense concentration and physical readiness. This sports photography piece was captured by photographer Troy Goodall.
