Description

The scene shows two young adult women in urban settings, one sitting on steps outside a newsstand reading a book before an alien invasion erupts with CGI, and another in a diner, also reading a book, that opens up to reveal an animated graphic novel. In the first scene, the young woman sits on steps, engrossed in her book as other people pass by. A mechanical alien structure descends and wreaks havoc on the city around her with explosions and debris. The second woman sits in a diner with others, again, immersed in reading until an animated storyline unfolds from the pages of her book.
