Description
The New York Public Library presents "Treasures," featuring volumes by Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz, published in Seville in 1692. Shot in a museum setting with marble floors and columns, the exhibition displays old open books in glass cases, as well as framed photos and text. Curator Paloma Celis Carbajal discusses the Latino collections on display and historical context of the featured pieces.
