About

Three Black women are captured inside a rustic kitchen setting, smiling while preparing food in large metal cooking pots. The woman in the center wears a light-patterned top and a blue hairnet, holding a spoon as she stirs the contents of a prominent metal pot. Flanking her are two other women wearing matching blue hairnets; the woman on the left wears a plain red t-shirt, while the woman on the right wears a dark patterned top with a white collar. Shelves filled with bottled goods and containers line the back wall behind them. The lighting is natural and ambient, casting soft shadows across the interior scene.
