David Lachapelle, Photographer, New York

Description

This portrait features a man and a woman posed dramatically together on the left, with the woman wearing a long black gown with a high slit and the man in a black tuxedo. A young child wearing a small suit lies across a modern blue sofa on the right, near a vibrant pink neon sign that reads The Ferragnez. A pink patterned baby stroller sits positioned between the adults and the sofa on a rooftop terrace setting. The scene is illuminated by sharp studio lighting with colored neon accents, creating a high-contrast and theatrical aesthetic characteristic of photographer David Lachapelle.
