Alexandra Gallagher, Illustrator, London

Description

This surreal illustration by illustrator Alexandra Gallagher features a dense, layered composition of large flowers including white magnolias, pink peonies, and orange marigolds mingled with green foliage. Small green frogs are nestled among the blooms, adding a whimsical and unexpected element to the botanical arrangement. The floral bouquet emerges above a depiction of rolling ocean waves beneath a textured sky filled with glowing green bokeh dots. The colour palette combines rich earthy tones with vibrant pinks, whites, and deep greens, creating a dreamlike and textured collage-like aesthetic.
