About

This striking black and white studio photograph features two dancers engaged in a powerful athletic lift against a seamless dark backdrop. The male dancer supports the female dancer horizontally across his back in a dynamic, highly controlled pose that highlights musculature and form. The lighting is directional and dramatic, carving out strong highlights and deep shadows across their bodies. The composition emphasizes strength, balance, and graceful movement within a minimalist frame. Captured by photographer Steve Vaccariello in New York.
