Steve McCurry, Photographer, New York

Description

This documentary photograph by Steve McCurry captures a vibrant school scene outdoors. Two young children are seated on small wooden chairs outside a building with bright yellow and red walls. A painted educational chart displaying fruits and vegetables is visible on the wall to the left of a wide wooden doorway, where a woman in a patterned dress enters holding white lace curtains. Another person is partially visible inside the doorway. Natural daylight illuminates the scene, highlighting the textures of the wooden doors and concrete ground.
