Stephan Vanfleteren, Photographer, Milan

Description

This evocative monochrome portrait by photographer Stephan Vanfleteren captures an elderly man seated on the floor and leaning against a dark, textured corner. The scene is shaped by dramatic low-key chiaroscuro lighting that carves out the contours of his face and bare feet while casting deep shadows across the room. He wears a dark buttoned garment and gazes thoughtfully off to the side with a serious expression. The heavy tonal contrast and rough textures of the walls enhance the introspective atmosphere of the composition.
