Description

A portrait captured by photographer Spencer Wells in Los Angeles features a Black male tennis player on a court. The subject has a short beard and tattoos on his arms, wearing a white polo shirt, white shorts, white wristbands, white socks, and white sneakers. He holds a tennis racket in one hand while a tennis ball hovers near his other hand in mid-air. The surface beneath him combines a bright blue court section with a green painted area marked by crisp white boundary lines. The vertical composition is framed with dark borders resembling an analog film negative edge.
