Shaun Fenn, Photographer, San Francisco

Description

This photograph by Shaun Fenn captures a cowgirl walking alongside a saddled dark horse within a dusty outdoor corral. The sun hangs low in the sky, creating a strong backlit silhouette effect and casting a warm golden glow across the scene. Dust billows up from the dry earth around the horse's legs, catching the brilliant sunlight. The cowgirl wears a cowboy hat, long-sleeved shirt, and jeans, her face largely silhouetted against the bright background. The composition is horizontally framed, emphasizing the movement of the pair against a backdrop of distant hills and utility poles.
