Shane Mccauley, Photographer, New York

Description

This black and white portrait by photographer Shane Mccauley captures a woman standing outside a food stand in New York. The subject is posed next to a storefront window adorned with various food imagery and signage reading Family Owned and Operated Serving Hollywood Since 1979. The high-contrast monochromatic composition emphasises the textured surfaces of the pavement, signage, and surroundings. The natural lighting and street-level framing create an observational editorial feel.
