Seana Redmond, Illustrator, London

Description

This mixed-media collage artwork by illustrator Seana Redmond juxtaposes a cut-out human profile with an intricate, web-veined botanical leaf structure. The human profile, rendered in warm vintage tones, shows a woman looking to the side with detailed facial features and dark hair. Overlapping the face is a richly patterned leaf with a web of fine red veins against pale areas, creating an organic focal point. The elements are isolated against a stark, solid black background, emphasizing the graphic composition and textured paper edges. The juxtaposition creates a surreal narrative blending human form with natural botanical elements.
