Seana Redmond, Illustrator, London

Description

This mixed media portrait collage created by illustrator Seana Redmond features a centrally placed figure with short dark hair and a neutral expression. The subject is layered over a large, detailed cutout of a white flower petal with subtle reddish center tones. The entire composition is set against a stark solid black background, emphasizing the crisp edges and cut-paper aesthetic of the artwork. The figure wears a high-collared white garment with intricate ruffled detailing around the neck. The piece exhibits a textured, handmade quality characteristic of physical cut-and-paste collage techniques.
