Description

This wide-angle editorial photograph by Scott Newett captures an expansive outdoor basketball court enclosed by chain-link fencing. Large pinkish promotional banners featuring athletic imagery and Chinese typography line the backdrop behind the court perimeter. In the distance, urban buildings rise under an overcast sky, while a solitary person walks near a tree on the right side. The court surface displays painted red and green zones with white boundary lines. The scene is shot in broad daylight with an even, diffuse lighting quality.
