Scott Balmer, Illustrator, London

Description

This striking vertical illustration by London-based illustrator Scott Balmer depicts a dramatic character study reminiscent of classic horror iconography. A figure wearing a iconic hockey mask and a dark suit stands centrally, holding a large machete with both hands while wearing yellow gloves. The character is adorned with glowing green seaweed elements draping over the shoulders and limbs. The background features a dramatic landscape with a red ground, dark water under a pale moon, and distant shoreline hills. The distinct color palette combines deep blues, vibrant yellows, reds, and greens with textured grain shading throughout the composition.
