Scott Balmer, Illustrator, London

Description

This vibrant digital illustration by London-based illustrator Scott Balmer showcases a nostalgic composition centered around classic gaming hardware. An Atari console and joystick are dynamically rendered at an angle, projecting light beams downwards amidst an explosion of colourful geometric shapes, circles, and octagons. The piece employs a retro aesthetic featuring a bright palette of hot pink, yellow, orange, and blue with a textured, grain-like finish. Prominent Atari branding and logo elements are integrated into the lower portion of the frame. The overall style is playful, energetic, and heavily inspired by vintage 1980s design aesthetics.
