Description

This hand-drawn illustrative trail map of Darling Harbour was created by Melbourne illustrator Sasha Heath for the Sydney Festival. The detailed line art depicts an aerial view of the harbour area complete with iconic landmarks, boats, wildlife, and cardboard sculptures. Coloured text boxes, directional arrows, and interactive prompts are integrated throughout the illustration to guide visitors along the discovery trail. The composition combines graphic design elements with playful black-and-white line drawings against a red and white branded background frame. The work reflects an engaging public art project aimed at families and festival attendees exploring the waterfront.
