About

This illustrated double-page spread features a colourful historical scene depicting a Roman victory parade, created by illustrator Tom Froese. The artwork shows various figures including soldiers in traditional attire, crowds of spectators, and horses pulling a chariot through a classical streetscape framed by arches and columns. Informational text boxes are integrated into the composition, explaining historical details about ancient Roman customs and triumphs. The illustration employs a textured, graphic style with a warm palette of reds, oranges, blues, and neutral tones. The perspective creates a sense of depth, drawing the viewer's eye along the parade route from the foreground figures toward distant temples and monuments.
