About

This monochrome studio photograph captured by Paris-based photographer Romain Roucoules presents a surreal and whimsical composition. A small, long-haired dog with wind-blown fur looks out from the wire basket of a standard metal shopping cart. The cart is loaded with a collection of potted houseplants, including leafy palms, along with various shopping bags and loose ribbons fluttering in the air. The lighting is bright and evenly diffused, casting soft shadows beneath the cart on a dark floor. The background is a seamless light grey, emphasizing the unusual contents of the cart and the candid expression of the small animal.
