Robyn Breen Shinn, Photographer, New York

Description

This portrait captures a young child mid-air, leaping joyfully across a weathered outdoor asphalt surface marked with faded painted designs. The subject is viewed from behind, emphasizing motion with long hair and clothing caught mid-swish. She wears a white bucket hat with a red band, a teal patterned short-sleeve shirt, a patterned skirt in red and blue, white socks with stripes, and light-colored sandals. Natural daylight illuminates the scene, casting a soft shadow directly beneath her. The surrounding environment features textured ground and earthy terrain under a warm color grade.
