About

This portrait illustration by Rinee Shah depicts two figures rendered in dark blue ink on an off-white paper background. The artwork features visible cross-hatching and dense pen strokes to create deep shadows and contouring on the subjects. The composition is cropped closely to the upper bodies, focusing strongly on the expressive facial features and dark hair of both individuals. The rough, hand-drawn texture of the lines gives the piece an organic and intimate feel. The overall contrast between the dark blue ink and the light background highlights the dynamic shading techniques used throughout.
