Ricky Alvarez, Photographer, New York

Description

This outdoor street scene, captured by photographer Ricky Alvarez in New York, shows two individuals entering the side door of a vibrant yellow taxi van. In the foreground on the left, a tall person stands facing away from the camera, wearing a plaid button-down jacket with 'New York' lettered across the back and light-wash patterned denim trousers. A second person is partially inside the open vehicle, wearing a black graphic t-shirt featuring an apple illustration and 'Neu York' text, paired with olive green cargo pants. The bright yellow van features a prominent black circular logo on its sliding door and reflects sunlight on its windows. The composition is set against an urban architectural backdrop with a paved sidewalk and a building exterior visible in the upper portion of the frame. The natural daylight casts clean, sharp shadows under the vehicle, highlighting the everyday urban atmosphere.
