Various Editorials Rakes Progress 2026

Description

This evocative editorial photograph captured by Claire Harrison for Rakes Progress presents a still life scene outdoors in natural surroundings. A small golden-yellow bird perches atop an upright stem, positioned directly above a woven basket filled with ripe pears. The composition is nestled within dense blades of tall grass and foliage, creating a moody, naturalistic atmosphere. Soft, dappled natural light filters through the vegetation, highlighting the rich textures of the fruit, basket, and feathers. The colour palette leans toward earthy greens, warm golds, and muted browns, creating a cohesive and quiet narrative study.
