Description

In a poignant and emotionally charged scene, a young African-American child is rushed to the hospital after an emergency 911 call. A man carries the boy out of a modest house while a distressed woman follows. The child is placed onto a gurney and put into an ambulance. Inside the ambulance, the boy is examined by paramedics and comforted by his mother. The woman cries in distress. The ambulance drives along a tree lined street away from a neighborhood towards a damaged Toronto cityscape with signs of decay and debris. A young girl stands on a rooftop overlooking the city.
