Pol Kurucz, Photographer, Los Angeles

Description

This striking and surreal staged photograph by photographer Pol Kurucz presents a cinematic scene set outdoors near a body of water. A blonde woman wearing a vibrant pink crop top, matching mini skirt, and platform shoes walks down large stone steps, holding onto the string of a bright pink balloon labelled with text. In the water at the base of the steps, the dorsal fin and upper body of a shark with a circular sticker emerge near the water surface. Two white doves fly gracefully near an illuminated architectural structure and doorways in the background. The lighting casts warm, golden highlights across the stone stairs and watery reflections, creating a theatrical and polished atmosphere.
