Benjamin Rasmussen, Photographer, Denver

Description

This editorial photograph by Benjamin Rasmussen features a large, makeshift conical structure built from numerous used plastic bottles arranged around a central wooden post. The structure stands in the middle of a green grassy field surrounded by sparse trees and distant foliage under a partly cloudy daytime sky. Overhead utility lines stretch across the upper edge of the frame. The natural daylight illuminates the semi-transparent plastic bottles, highlighting their varied sizes, shapes, and faint greenish tints against the muted green landscape.
