Pip Cowley, Photographer, New York

Description

This playful winter outdoor photograph captured by Pip Cowley features two people in a snowy landscape by the edge of a calm lake surrounded by dense evergreen pine trees. A woman wearing an orange puffer jacket, tan trousers, a white beanie, and grey gloves stands with one foot planted on the back of a man lying prone in the snow, striking a dynamic pose with her arms outstretched. The man is dressed in a green puffer jacket, brown trousers, and dark boots. The crisp natural daylight illuminates the snowy terrain and the dark waters of the lake, highlighting the textures of their winter apparel against the cold outdoor environment.
