Description

The illustration shows the stages of deforestation. The composition uses a four-panel grid. In the first panel, a yellow bulldozer is parked in a dense forest of green trees with dark trunks, its blade against a tree. In the second panel, the bulldozer is pushing against a tree which is breaking and cracking. In the third panel, the forest is much sparser, with fewer trees remaining. In the fourth panel, the bulldozer is gone, leaving a barren landscape of brown soil with a few logs and some smoke rising in the distance. The style is cartoonish with thick black outlines and flat colors.
