Description

A surreal still life composition features a single ripe yellow pear resting precariously atop a glass half-filled with golden liquid. A metallic wristwatch is fastened horizontally around the middle of the glass. Three colored sewing pins are stuck into the top of the pear, and a small fly rests near its stem. Leaning against the side of the glass is a dark cigarette, alongside a single golden bead, a loose blue pin on the surface, and a pink confection nestled in a white paper wrapper.
