Description
This still life photograph by Pernille Loof features an elaborate, ornate multi-tiered ceramic pedestal vase resting on a dark wooden table. The upper tier holds two fresh artichokes, while the middle bowl overflows with dark grapes, oranges, and apples amidst green foliage. The background is a solid, deep black that creates strong contrast and dramatic chiaroscuro lighting on the subject. Additional loose fruits and green sprigs are scattered on the polished wooden surface beside the base of the stand.
