About

This still life photograph by Alison Miksch features a lush, dense bouquet of fresh peonies in shades of deep pink, soft blush, and creamy white. The flowers are arranged tightly inside a rounded, clear glass vase that reveals the green stems submerged within. The vase sits on a draped piece of dark grey fabric, with two un-opened flower buds resting beside the base on the right. The background is a textured, mottled grey surface that complements the cool, moody tones of the composition.
