Pedro Oliveira, Photographer, New York

Description

This portrait photograph by Pedro Oliveira captures a joyful moment outdoors on a sunny city street. A smiling black man in his 20s carries a laughing woman with natural curly hair on his back, giving her a piggyback ride. The man wears a grey double-breasted coat over a dark shirt, while the woman is wrapped in a light-coloured scarf. The urban background shows multi-storey buildings under a clear blue sky, with a dark car partially visible in the left foreground. Natural daylight illuminates the scene, highlighting their candid expressions and the warm tones of the street architecture.
