Description

This digital illustration by Paul Wearing depicts a dense cluster of large green hosta leaves radiating outward against a muted grey-blue sky. A pale round moon shines in the upper left corner above layered horizontal scratch lines representing atmospheric texture. The leaves display intricate intersecting vein patterns and varying shades of green, yellow-green, and deep emerald. At the base of the stems, a small dark snail sits on a textured patterned ground with subtle swirling line details. The overall composition employs a graphic print style with textured fills and visible block-printing characteristics.
