Pascal Schonlau, Photographer, Berlin

About

This striking portrait captured in Berlin by photographer Pascal Schonlau features two men posing dynamically amidst billowing plumes of white smoke or clouds. Both subjects are dressed in dark black attire, contrasting sharply with the luminous, textured smoke that fills the frame. The composition uses dramatic backlighting to highlight the expressive hand gestures and postures of the subjects against the ethereal, cloud-like background. The moody atmosphere and sculptural framing create a theatrical, high-contrast visual narrative.
