Description

This portrait photograph features an elderly Black man with short grey curly hair and a neatly trimmed grey beard. He is shirtless, with prominent collarbones and shoulder definition visible in the low-key lighting. The background is dark and shadowy, contrasted by dramatic red and teal edge lighting that highlights his profile, hair, and shoulders. The man gazes directly at the camera with a calm and solemn expression. The composition focuses intimately on the subject from the chest up against a moody backdrop.
