Olivier Foulon, Photographer, Paris

Description

This still life photograph by Olivier Foulon features a roll of brown packaging tape resting on a highly reflective, crumpled sheet of metallic foil that gleams in shades of gold, green, and deep amber. A strip of the matching brown tape unrolls diagonally across the creased, mirror-like surface, creating sharp geometric angles and bright highlights. The play of light and shadow across the distorted metallic planes produces a rich, abstract visual texture. The composition captures industrial materials arranged in an experimental, sculptural arrangement.
