Nicolas Ridou, Illustrator, Paris

Description

This digital illustration by Paris-based illustrator Nicolas Ridou portrays a police officer wearing a light blue uniform and a peaked cap adorned with an insignia. The subject stands against a vibrant sunset sky backdrop featuring a large sun and curling wisps of smoke. He holds a lit match in one hand and a cigarette in his mouth, with his eyes closed in a relaxed expression. The artwork employs bold outlines, flat color fills, and sharp cel-shading techniques typical of comic or graphic novel styles. Prominent tactical gear, including shoulder straps and pouches, adds detail to the officer's uniform.
